A NA, or nursing assistant, is an entry-level member of a patient’s healthcare team, performing important patient-centered tasks under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Although a NA is not a nurse, they work very closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
A Home Health Aide (HHA) is a home healthcare worker who helps patients with basic medical tasks, such as wound care, driving to appointments, and assists with everyday tasks that patients may find difficult, such as taking a bath or feeding themselves.
