The Home Health Aide (HHA) program in Florida is designed to provide trained caregivers to assist individuals with daily living activities in the comfort of their own homes.

The Home Health Aide (HHA) program in Florida is designed to provide trained caregivers to assist individuals with daily living activities in the comfort of their own homes.
Training Requirements:
HHAs must complete a minimum of 75 hours of training, including:

- Private homes - Assisted living facilities - Adult day care centers - Home health agencies

- Compassionate and empathetic - Ability to work independently - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Basic math skills (for medication management) - Ability to lift and transfer clients (if necessary)
– Personal care and hygiene assistance
– Medication management and reminders
– Light housekeeping and organization
– Meal preparation and nutrition support
– Vital sign monitoring and health tracking
